The delectable comedy Don't Dress for Dinner, a combustible mix of mistaken identity, marital shenanigans and gourmet cooking, follows the misadventures of Bernard, who plans a romantic weekend in the countryside with his mistress while his wife is out of town. He's even hired a Cordon Bleu-trained chef to impress his paramour, and he's invited along a bachelor pal as an alibi. But his carefully constructed plans fall faster than a soufflé, stirring up all kinds of trouble for the hapless hero. This fast-moving farce by Marc Camoletti, who wrote the popular comedy Boeing-Boeing, comes to the Actor's Cafe at Desert Stages Theatre.
