Phoenix's Nearly Naked Theatre presents the Arizona premiere of The Underpants Godot by Duncan Pflaster. A director surreptitiously plans an avant-garde production of Waiting for Godot, with the main characters played by hot guys in their underwear instead of old men. When a representative of the notoriously litigious estate of Samuel Beckett crashes a rehearsal to investigate and decide whether the performance should be allowed, the performers must convince her by the seat of their ... underpants. This hilarious meta-theatrical piece asks us to test our limits of acceptable interpretation and adaptation of art from any era, be it Shakespeare or Tennessee Williams or the Batman franchise.
